About Sam
I see the story, the scenes and characters: the movie is already in my head… I just hope someone else will have a glimpse of those and enjoy them as much as I do.

The writing in this one is SPECTACULAR!!!! The characters are well developed and full of infinite layers….the plot itself is intense and somewhat cathartic…. Deeply philosophical & moving….will be staying with me long after the final page.

An odd millenial…
I was born in 1991, the son of Iranian immigrants in Italy. I am a native Italian speaker, bilingual in English, and I also speak Farsi, though I cannot read it. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Master of Science in Financial Economics. Additionally, I completed a Ph.D. in Economics and Finance, during which I published three peer-reviewed journal papers and contributed three chapters to prominent books in the field of financial entrepreneurship. However, I left academia as my true passion was not in this field; I excelled in studies and pursued them initially to gain the means to produce my own stories. Eventually, I realized I had to let the ‘sunshine’ of artistic creation in: now I am a full-time fiction writer and self-aware artist, and it wasn’t an easy self-discovery path.
Finally: ART
My first book (Everlasting Quarantine), which required six months of intensive work and approximately 1.5 years of motivational effort, was a significant undertaking. Eager for its release, I independently published it through Amazon KDP. It performed relatively well in both Italian and English versions, a success accentuated by my winning first prize in the fantasy-horror-thriller subsection of the national literary competition ‘Scrittori Italiani.’ Though independently published, my work is not amateur; it has been professionally edited and proofread, and further refined after beta readings. This is also true for my second novel, It Was The Wind.
All in all, what do I do?
To put it simply, I spend my days reading and writing.
As a side hustle, I collaborate part-time on wortwhile projects as an economist and legal consultant pro-bono… just to put my financial and managerial skills to good use every once in a while.
As an avid reader, I enjoy all genres of fiction. Three years ago, I stopped reading non-fiction, focusing solely on fiction, as I feel theory and self-help books have nothing more to offer me at this stage in my life. This decision comes after a decade (more precisely, 12 years) of intense self-discovery and the cultivation of concentric wisdom and awareness.
Currently, I have about eight fully-outlined novels waiting for my attention.
I am a proud father of shelter-rescue dogs, which I believe are the best. I practice boxing and Muay Thai, and I cook at home daily. Additionally, I have been a long-time practitioner of various types of meditation and have experienced about three significant mystical events so far.
